1. Who we are

Uscados is provided by Vanami Limited, which is the data controller for the personal data processed in the app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

2. What we collect

Account data: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (or your Apple/Google sign-in identity if you use social login). Profile data: your optional profile picture and points. Household data: the household you belong to, its members, tasks and completed transactions. Device data: a push notification token for your device, and technical logs (such as timestamps and error information) needed to run the service.

3. Why we process it

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (article 6.1.b GDPR): signing you in, showing your household, syncing tasks and points between members, and sending push notifications. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your data for profiling.

4. Who can see your data

Members of your household can see your name, profile picture and points. Profile pictures are stored on servers with public image links; anyone with the exact link can view the image, but links are not listed or searchable. We share data with our hosting providers (Amazon Web Services, region EU West/Ireland) acting as data processors. We do not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

5. Where and how long

Data is stored within the EU (AWS eu-west-1). We keep your data for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. You can update your name and picture in the app. To exercise your other rights, contact us at info@uscados.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

7. Children’s privacy

Uscados is a family app, but accounts require the user to be at least 13 years old or have a guardian’s consent. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will notify you in the app. The latest version always applies and is available on this page.
